A serpentine kiosk of reflective glass accommodated the New Year’s Eve ball exhibition. Also programmed were two counters for ticket sales and a souvenir store. A multimedia installation created an entrance and connection to the street, engaging themes of reflection, voyeurism, and the crowd.

WXY was selected to create a new design for the Times Square Visitor Center. The Times Square Visitor Center was both an exhibit and a kiosk. The program required an exciting entrance and a narrative about the history of Times Square and a celebration of the New Year’s Eve experience. The project was completed for New Year’s Eve 2009/10.
