WXY is collaborating with the head of Beacon’s Greenway Trail Committee and a local urban planner to launch a new bike share program in the city. The plan envisions stations with eight or ten bikes each, some electric.

Funded through NYSERDA’s Clean Mobility Program, the Beacon Bike Share is modeled after New York City’s bike share program and aims to add zero-emission connections to public transportation in underserved communities.
