On October 24th, Farida sat on the keynote panel, The Cross-Continental Exchange: Bridging Continents and Cultures Through Innovative Design, at the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) Annual Conference. Joined by two other West African PR actioners, Nmadili Okwumabua. Founder, CPDI Africa. and Tosin Oshinowo, Farida shared her experience as practitioner and storyteller advocating for collective resilience and shared strength in “…building spaces that honor heritage and cradle communities” (Abu-Bakare, 2024).
